Driving:
Arriving from Athens or Thessaloniki. Take highway E75 (Athens-Thessaloniki) to the port of Agios Konstantinos (165km), where you will take the ferry boat to the island of Skiathos. Additionally, if you drive from Athens, you can head to Port Kimasi (Mantoudi village) through Chalkida City and get the ferry boat to Skiathos. After you arrive at the port of Skiathos, head towards Koukounaries; at the bus stop 12 and about 150m off the main road you will find Kanapitsa Mare Hotel.
Taxi:
We would like to inform you that the distance from Skiathos International Airport to Kanapitsa Mare Hotel is approximately 7km and the average cost is 20 euro. From the Athens International Airport to the port of Agios Konstantinos (Mainland, for the guests that wish to combine ferry travel) the distance is approximately 200km and the average cost is 200 euros.
If you prefer to travel by ferry boat, Skiathos is connected with the ports of Volos, Agios Konstantinos, Vassilika (Sea taxi), Mantoudi(Evoia island), and Thessaloniki (Summer only). You can find ferry boat information about traveling to Skiathos and book ferry tickets to Skiathos online at tickets.hellasferries.net.
